Pipeline Change Summary
Over a year ago we reworked our Forecast Trends Waterfall chart, a super important tool where you can see the evolution of your open/active pipeline through time.
Our RollUps page is also one of the most important sources of information to understand the current status as well as the evolution of your opportunities grouped by user and rolling up your company's hierarchy.
You will now be able to identify summarized changes on the active pipeline for any given user within the RollUps page! making it more powerful than ever by presenting all relevant data in one place. No more jumping back and forth between RollUps and Trends!
Quick steps
- Your Admin (or Sales Ops) enables and configures the feature
- Navigate to RollUps and select your desired Business Type and your "Closing in" and "Changes Since" filter values
- Hover over any user in the RollUps hierarchy
- Success!
You no longer have to leave RollUps in order to see your active pipeline evolution!
For a fully detailed version on how to set up and use the feature please refer to Pipeline Change Summary How To
Improvements and Enhancements
Only active vs All users filtering
We are extending support to choose whether to include deals from all users or only active ones to more pages on top of the already supported RollUps page.
You are now able to toggle "only active" or "all" user filtering in pages like Opportunities, Forecast Trends and Pipeline Deals progression pages.
How does it work?
Setting up default values
Within Settings -> Onboarding Settings there's a new section to set default user status filtering values.
We have migrated the already existing default setting for the RollUps page into this section.
Whatever toggle status is defined here is what users will see when navigating to the respective pages until they change said toggle.
NOTE: You can configure a different default value for RollUps independently of what is set for the rest of the page
Active vs all users filtering
You will find a toggle within the following pages:
- Opportunities
- Forecast Trends
- Pipeline Deals Progression
- RollUps
Depending on the toggle status charts and tables will either include opportunities owned by active users only, or all users (active and deactivated users).
Turning the toggle off means deals from all users are included in charts and tables in the current page:
Turning it on will exclude all deals from deactivated users:
Split view toggle default status
You can now define the default status of the "Opp Split View" toggle in Opportunities and Forecast - Trends pages for Business Types that have splits turned ON.
Within your Business Type configuration you will find a "Splits view default" status option (for Business Types with splits enabled of course).
This will determine the default status of the split view toggle upon initial navigation to the aforementioned pages, so you no longer have to manually switch the toggle on or off when navigating through different Business Types with splits.
For non-split Business Types the default status is "off"
Saved Views - Shared View editing
As you know we recently released a revamp of the whole Saved Views feature, adding more capabilities and improving the control over what views are shared with different profiles.
We are now completing the work by allowing Sales Operations users to quickly identify which of their views are shared and to be able to edit shared views even if they were not created by themselves.
