Overview
This release introduces enhanced meeting controls, improved deal insights organization, better contact management, and clearer error reporting to help you work more efficiently with the Terret platform.
1. On-Demand Terret NoteTaker Controls
What's New
You now have manual control over the Terret NoteTaker bot, allowing you to launch or remove it from meetings as needed.
Launch NoteTaker
When to use:
- Meeting started earlier than scheduled
- Bot didn't join automatically
- You're reusing a meeting link after a participant missed the original time
How it works:
Click "Launch Notetaker" in the Call AI Interface
- Bot launches in real-time—no waiting for sync
- Available on: Homepage, Prep Meeting Page, Deal Insights, Upcoming Calls, and Completed Calls pages.
Important notes:
- Only works when no bot is currently in the call
- Requires Terret platform access and meeting attendance
- Remember that if the bot auto-removes after 10 minutes of call inactivity, you'll need to manually relaunch it
Remove NoteTaker
When to use:
- Meeting host hasn't joined and you want to proceed without recording
- Privacy requirements change during the meeting
- Bot joined unintentionally
How it works:
Click "Remove Notetaker" in the Call AI interface
- Bot immediately leaves the meeting
Availability & Access
- Who can use it: Meeting attendees with Terret platform access
- Where to find it: Action column in all call list views
- Time limit: Options remain available for 24 hours after the call ends
Important Warnings
Data Override Warning
When relaunching a bot for a meeting that already has a recording:
You'll see a confirmation warning that launching will override the existing recording
- The previous recording link will be replaced with the new one
- Previous recording data will no longer be accessible
- Only one recording per meeting is supported at a time
Bot Re-joining
Once the note taker has joined a call (manually or automatically), it won't automatically rejoin if participants return at the scheduled time. The initial recording is preserved. To record a subsequent session, manually launch the note taker again (this will override the previous recording).
