Forecast Dashboard
Summary:
Use the Forecast dashboards to measure pipeline progression, prior quarter comparison, and seller attainment over the course of the quarter.
BEAT CHART
Use this chart to see how you are tracking towards your goal. Select/Deselect the metrics you see in the chart.
- See your saved views
- Use these filters to change what data you see in the chart below
- Save your selected filters so you don’t need to recreate them
- Toggle between business types
- Use these filters to change what opportunities are included in the chart below as well as what time period and interval we want to see the data in
- Check and uncheck these metrics to reflect what we see on the chart.
- This shows the data based on the selected metrics above.
SAME DAY PREVIOUS QUARTER CHART
Compare how a team is doing this quarter versus previous quarters.
- Select/Deselect the metrics we want to see displayed on the charts below.
- The corresponding forecast category and target data.
SELLER QUOTA ATTAINMENT CHART
See how sellers are tracking towards their target/quota and the team average.
- See your team’s quota attainment broken down by rep.
- See the average attainment on the dotted orange line.

Forecast Trends: Sankey Chart
Summary:
Track deal stage and forecast progression over time.
How to use it:
Note that your columns/stages/forecast categories may be different depending on your company's unique BoostUp configuration
- Change the Changes Since drop down to the amount of time you want to go back.
- Ex. I want to see how deals have changed in the last 7 days.
- Select the set of deals you want to include using the Closing In filter.
- Ex. All deals closing in this quarter.
- Select the Opportunity Types you want to include.
- Click into Pipeline Stages and select the way you want to see the deal movement, via pipeline stages or forecast category.
- Hover over each stage to see deal movement. On hover over particular paths, you will be able to click into the highlighted number in popup and open and a list view of included deals and details around them.

Summary:
View of changes in historical pipeline compared to current pipeline over a period of time.

Customize Date Ranges
Update Closing In as well as the Changes Since dropdown to reflect the period of time period you want to review.
Chart Flow
The filters apply to the Start and End bars. What you see are deals that started or ended in active stages and open categories and the changes to those deals over the timeframe.
To understand data flow behind each bar, please follow the A and B bars from the following picture:
- “A” bar
- Shows the deals that were open as of the date on the bar.
- This date is set by the Changes In filter.
- “B” bar
- Shows the pipe as of today.
- New
- Shows all new deals that were created after the bar A date.
- Deals that are new in B and were not in A.
- Pulled
- Shows deals that were not originally slated to close in this time period, or did not meet the filter criteria somehow, but have had their closed date or stage, or other filters changed and were pulled in.
- + Value
- Shows deals that have gone up in value, the amount on the opp has been increased.
- Pushed
- Shows deals that were originally slated to close in this time period, or met the filter criteria somehow, but have since existed the filter criteria. Ex, close date was pushed to next quarter.
- - Value
- Shows deals that have gone down in value, the amount on the opp has been decreased.
- Won
- Shows deals that have closed/won during this period.
- Closed/won deals do not have an impact on the value for bar B because as soon as the deal status changes to Won, it is not part of the pipeline anymore.
- Lost
- Shows deals that have closed/won during this period.
- Lost deals do not have an impact on the value for bar B because as soon as the deal status changes to Lost, it is not part of the pipeline anymore.
Deals pop-up
On hover, view a snapshot value of deals within that bar as of starting point.
Click into any of the bars to pull up a detailed view of included opportunities. The green and red highlighted fields are deltas(any data that has changed within the period set by the Changes Since filter.
