Package Upgrade Steps
To install the latest package (version 1.9) you will attach this hyperlink (/packagingSetupUI/ipLanding.app?apvId=04t2w000009FAKf) to the end of the main domain.
After doing so, you should be redirected to a new webpage and should see this screen:
Please select Install for All Users, and then check the acknowledgement box, before pressing the Upgrade button.
This app may take up to 10 minutes to install, and a dialog box might appear saying it will continue in the background and you will receive an email when completed. If this happens just continue to wait for another few minutes or so and then try to use any of the new features.
Configure the Correct Connected App URLs
After installing the latest version of the SFDC package, if you are an existing customer, you will need to change the connected app URLs to work with the new package. You can do this by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and clicking on Setup.
Then you can type Custom Settings in the quick find menu on the left hand side of the screen, and select it under Custom Code.
Once you are in Custom Settings, click on BoostUp Settings, and then on Manage in the center of the screen, and finally on the Edit or New button.
Finally, once you are on the edit page replace all of the respective fields with these values, if they are not already set (there are two different configurations depending on if the customer is based in the US or the EU):
U.S. Customers:
App URL -> https://sfdc.boostup.ai/?displaymode=embed&needPersonate=true
Connected App -> BoostUp
Record URL (Account) -> https://sfdc.boostup.ai/sfobject/account/{recordId}
Record URL (Opportunity) -> https://sfdc.boostup.ai/sfobject/opportunity/{recordId}
EU Customers:
App URL -> https://sfdc2.boostup.ai/?displaymode=embed&needPersonate=true
Connected App -> BoostUp_SFDC_2
Record URL (Account) -> https://sfdc2.boostup.ai/sfobject/account/{recordId}
Record URL (Opportunity) -> https://sfdc2.boostup.ai/sfobject/opportunity/{recordId}
Once you save your changes, the final page should look like this:

Package Pre-Installation Steps
Make sure that your “Deliverability” setting is set to “All Email”. Without this setting, the package installation will not succeed.

Package Post-Installation Steps
The following section describes the post-installation steps a Salesforce Administrator needs to undertake.
Search for App Manager while on the Setup page, select the dropdown icon, and click Manage either for BoostUp (U.S. based Customer) or BoostUp_SFDC_2 (EU based Customer), depending on where the customer is located.
Edit Connected App policies to “Admin approved users are pre-authorized”.
Clone the permission set “BoostUp Users” and name it “BoostUp Users Clone”.
In the “BoostUp Users Clone” permission set, assign the connected app “BoostUp”.
Assign “BoostUp Users Clone” permission set to your users.
If you are an EU customer, you will need to follow the steps here to configure your connected app URL (Configure the Correct Connected App URLs). Once you have done that, or if you are a U.S. based customer, then the setup is now complete.
At this point, you should have a tab called “BoostUp” available in your environment. You can place this at a suitable location in your org using the standard Salesforce click-and-config tools available at your disposal.
For example, to make it a part of your “Sales” application, navigate to “App Manager” and select it within the “Navigation Items” section of the application.

Configure Account and Opportunity Detail Pages
Go to a random Account page, and click edit page in the top right corner underneath the Gear icon:
Then click on a tab bar where you would like to access BoostUp Account details, in this case it will be the main tab bar with Related, Details, etc, and select New Tab on the right hand side.
Select Custom underneath Tab Label, and name the new tab BoostUp Account Details
Then you will select the new tab from the menu bar, and drag a VisualForce component from the component list on the left side of the screen into the new empty white space
Finally, you will need to set the VisualForce component settings. You will set the Visualforce Page Name to BoostUp, and set the height to 640px (recommended)
Finally click the blue Save button in the top right corner of the screen and click back. Now repeat these instructions for opportunities as well and you should have successfully configured this! The instructions are exactly the same for Opportunity as they are for Account, the only difference is you will have to first select an opportunity before you click Edit Page, and you will need to name the custom label BoostUp Opportunity Details.
