💡 What is a Deal Pulse Tracker?
The Deal Pulse Tracker is a feature that helps you understand how well-documented and progressed a deal is at any given moment. Think of it as a health check for your opportunities; it shows you exactly which steps have been completed and how strong the deal looks overall.
It works by organizing key information your team needs to capture throughout the deal (called milestones) and showing you how complete and healthy each deal is based on that information.
📌 Quick definition:
Milestone: A milestone is a checkpoint; a piece of key information that should be captured at a certain point in your deal.
If AI is enabled in your account, some milestones may already be pre-filled with suggestions based on your call recordings, emails and field changes.
📍 Where to find it
There are two places where you'll interact with the Deal Pulse Tracker:
1. The Opportunity Page: When viewing your list of deals, you'll see a Deal Pulse column that shows a quick visual snapshot of each deal's health — a progress bar, a score, and any pending AI suggestions. This gives you a bird's-eye view without opening each deal individually.
2. The Deal Insights Panel: When you open a specific deal, you'll find the Deal Pulse section in the insights panel. This is where you can see all the milestones for that deal, check what's been completed, and enter or review information.
✅ Don't see it? If the Deal Pulse column or section isn't visible, it may not be configured for your profile yet. Reach out to your Sales Ops or Admin team, they can activate it for you in just a couple of clicks.
👁️ What you can see
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Milestone progress bar | A horizontal blue bar showing how many milestones have been completed. The more filled, the further along the deal documentation. |
| Quality Score (0–100) | An overall health number for your deal. Color-coded so you can instantly spot deals that need attention. |
| Pending AI Suggestions | AI has suggestions for one or more milestones that haven't been reviewed yet. |
| Milestone list (inside the deal) | The full list of milestones your team tracks, along with their status, AI suggestion and Score. |
🎯 Understanding the score
The quality score ranges from 0 to 100 and reflects how complete and strong your deal is based on the milestones your team tracks.
The score colors show instant deal health visibility:
| 🟢 GREEN — Score ≥ 70 | 🟡 YELLOW — Score 40–69 | 🔴 RED — Score < 40 |
|---|---|---|
| Deal progressing well | Attention may be needed | Needs immediate action |

❓ Frequently asked questions
- What is a milestone, exactly? A milestone is a checkpoint in your deal, a specific piece of information that should be captured at a key moment, like "Budget confirmed" or "Champion identified." Think of them as the must-haves for a deal to be considered well-documented.
- What does "Pending AI suggestions" mean? If your account has AI enabled, the system analyzes your calls and emails to generate suggestions for milestone fields. The gray indicator means the AI has a suggestion waiting for your review. Click the score to open the breakdown and act on them.
- Can I edit milestone information? Some milestones pull data directly from your CRM and display as read-only; those can't be changed inside Deal Pulse. Editable milestones can be updated directly in the Deal Insights panel.
- Why does my deal show no score? Either the tracker has no scored milestones, or your admin has turned off score visibility for your profile. Contact your Sales Ops team to check about the status of the Score feature for Deal Pulse.
- Can different deals have different trackers? Yes. Your Sales Ops team can create multiple trackers for different processes or teams. You may see different milestones on different deals depending on which tracker is assigned to your profile.
